What does far means?

"FAR" refers to Far Infrared Radiation (FIR). This is a specific wavelength of infrared light that penetrates the skin to provide deep, therapeutic heat. Unlike traditional saunas, which heat the air around you, far-infrared saunas directly heat your body, allowing for more efficient and comfortable warmth.

1. Wavelength: FAR infrared has longer wavelengths compared to near-infrared (NIR) or mid-infrared (MIR). These wavelengths penetrate the skin more deeply, reaching up to 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) into the body.

2. Heat Efficiency: Instead of heating the surrounding air, FAR infrared saunas directly warm the body, which allows you to experience intense heat without needing extreme air temperatures.

3. Health Benefits: The deep penetration of FAR infrared is believed to promote detoxification, improve blood circulation, relieve joint pain, and enhance relaxation.

4. Comfort: Because the air temperature is lower than in a traditional sauna, it’s easier to breathe and more comfortable for longer sessions.
